Requesting a Transcript

How do I get a copy of my transcript?

There must be written, signed documentation in order to release a copy of a transcript.This is for your protection. The district will accept a letter requesting your transcript or this release form. Transcript requests from a business or educational institution must have your signature before the request will be honored.

If you have graduated between in the last five years
Your records are maintained at the High School. Contact the Registrar, Cheryl Carr at  314-290-4115 or ccarr@u-city.k12.mo.us.

If you graduated more than five years ago
Your Transcript is maintained at the Central Office. Contact Ellen Hoskin at 314-290-4001 or ehoskin@u-city.k12.mo.us.

All requests need to include the following information:

1. Date of graduation or
2. Date(s) of attendance
3. Name that appears on transcript
4. Reason for request

Fees:
Transcripts to be sent to educational institutions including trade or technical schools are provided with out charge.
Requests for employment or for personal use are $2.00 each.

At this time we are unable to process credit cards or accept online payment of any kind. Attach a check or money order with your request.

Requests from Government Agencies including law enforcement authorities, and officers of the court:
Requests should be made on official letterhead. In person requests will be handled with all possible speed upon presentation of proper identification.

Transcripts can be mailed directly to the educational institution in a sealed inner envelope if you provide the complete mailing address. We can also e-mail your transcript as a secured PDF file to the provided e-mail address. All transcripts will bear the raised seal of the School District of University City.

Transcript requests generally need three to five business days to process. Requests for members of the class of 1978 or earlier may take a little longer.
