District Offers Free Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program to University City Residents

The School District of University City will offer free breakfast and lunch meals to participants in its Summer Learning Academy program as well as to local residents who are between the ages 2-18 from now until July 25.
The summer meals program will be held at Pershing Elementary School, 6761 Bartmer Ave.; Brittany Woods Middle School, 8125 Groby Rd. and at University City High School (UCHS), 7401 Balson Ave. Breakfast will be served at all three schools, however lunch will only be available at Pershing School during the following times:
Breakfast
Brittany Woods 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday)
Pershing 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. (Monday – Thursday)
UCHS 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday)
Lunch
Pershing only 11:00 – 11:35 a.m. (Monday – Thursday)
Thanks to a grant from the state of Missouri, this is the first time the district has offered the free meals program to its summer school students as well as to residents. For more information call 314-290-4068.
