In the spirit of excellence that University City High School has been known for and is working on to strengthen even more, school-wide "Dress for Success" days are returning, and they will occur throughout the 2008-2009 school year. Students who wish to participate should dress in attire suitable for corporate America. DFS days will promote school spirit and pride, but also help prepare you for future employment opportunities for which you will apply and be interviewed.
The class that has the highest overall participation in the various DFS days throughout the year will be deemed the "class with the most class" at the end of the year. This class will be recognized with a certificate and a trophy to be displayed at school.

Above: Corey Johnson, Cliffon Brown and Stephen McIntosh show off their corporate attire.
The Freshmen class is in the lead for participation in the first DFS day. Second is the Sophomore class. Currently in third place are the Seniors ,and the Junior class has had the least participation so far. All of this could change as the year goes on.
Thanks to Ms. Nevils for spearheading and organizing this event. We can't wait to see everyone who participates in October! Check out some of the pictures below. For more info contact: dnevils@u-city.k12.mo.us.
