PRIDE Newspaper

PRIDE is a quarterly publication of the School District of University City, with an additional Back-to-School Guide special issue published in late summer. Its history dates back to 1945 under the name of University City Schools newspaper. At various times, the publication merged with the City of University City's publications to produce Community News of University City, City Desk / School Desk and U. City. Copies of most of these publications are available in the archives of the University City Public Library and the Historical Society of University City. Reference copies of back issues of U. City and PRIDE dating back to 1990 are available in the District's communications office.

Additional copies of the current issue of PRIDE are available at the McNair Administration Building. They are also available on information tables at all University City public schools and most city offices, including City Hall, Police Dept., Public Library and Centennial Commons. Distribution to non-McNair sites is typically delayed until it has been delivered to most homes to save costs of duplication for residents.
